ARt chat combines three elements:Augmented Reality, art and communication between visitors and exhibition organizers.With ARt chat, museum visitors can add virtual object texts in the exhibition and discuss them with others. The app combines augmented reality, art and communication. Object texts are often considered more intensively than the actual work. And who actually says that the interpretation written there is the only possible one? ARt chat enables museum visitors to post their own opinions, knowledge or even questions as comments in the exhibition space. Following and replying to comments also works after leaving the exhibition.ARt chat was developed jointly by nextmuseum.io, the MIREVI Lab and students from Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences. nextmuseum.io is a digital community platform for swarm curation and co-creation and is operated by the NRW-Forum/ Kunstpalast Düsseldorf and the Museum Ulm.
